Wooden and steel cupboards both offer great structural stability and durability, perfect for the everyday protection of your paperwork, stationery and other bits. They’re also super easy to clean with just a gentle detergent and warm water solution and a quick wipe!

Not necessarily – sometimes contrasting your cupboard with your other furniture can help create an interesting depth in your design. We recommend looking at furniture matching from an entire room point of view; pick three colours for your study or office space and stick to the 60:30:10 rule. This means that 60% of your room should be in your dominant colour, 30% in a secondary colour and 10% in an accent shade, pulling together a pleasing visual harmony.
Whilst ‘cupboard’ and ‘cabinet’ are often used interchangeably, a cupboard tends to be more for everyday storage use, whereas cabinets are often more distinctive pieces.
